Don’t you guys from playground/turn10 think, it is worth communicate that? I think it is. The last Version we had on PC was 1.0.35.2 and now we run on that exact version of the game. But all i read is, if we have 37.2 it would be wrong and the new version 35.2 would be correct. I can’t read anywhere that this was the old version.
It is a rollback since they released a game breaking patch. So now, on PC, we have the old version and no DLC. Exactly like you would expect since you paid for something and now that they have your money, you must have “patience” so they can delay your DLC without further info.

While the wording of the developers’ announcement of the rollback to 35.2 did confuse me when I first saw it, this is the best thing we have until they are able to stabilize the newest update. If they didn’t pull 37.2 from the Windows Store, those that downloaded the update would be stuck with a potentially save-breaking update where they couldn’t continue their progress and those that didn’t would most likely be unable to play the game due to the requirement that the game be fully updated. I’m thankful I’m able to play the game at all, and I’m glad they did what they did.
I find it improbable that PG/T10/MS would be intentionally “delaying” the update for PC, considering the update issues yesterday were likely the result of an accident. If the update problems hadn’t popped up, we would have been able to play the DLC from the get-go, but sadly that is not the case. I’m sure they’re doing their best to fix the issues that arose and get the update out as soon as possible; until then, waiting patiently is the best thing we can do as of now.
I know all the problems, the devs have with our PC version of the game. I have constant crashes since release for example.
But despite that, i bought the season pass and am still a proud owner of the ultimate edition.
What i really do not like, is the way things are communicated here. It would have not been to hard to mention, that a rollback was made.
Instead they write:
"- The incorrect PC version of FH3 has now been removed and replaced. PC players who have the FH3 version ending with .37.2 should immediately uninstall that version of the game, then re-install. The correct playable version should end in .35.2. "
Which sounds for a not so well informed customer, like the .35.2 Version is in fact the correct version and turn10/playground already fixed the game. But that is clearly not the case.
what is wrong with that … they have fixed the game and you canplay . The only thing we have not the dlc/update .
you must read AND understand
- NOTE: PC players who completed the download of .37.2 and then started a new game save will have a corrupted saved game. Avoid creating a new saved game on .37.2, and only play on .35.2 to avoid this issue. As long as you have an existing save and have not created a new one on .37.2, your saved game will work correctly once the update is available.

I think its you who should read again. And what you should read is my post. I am not complaining about the rollback. I am complaining about unclear communication. It went so far, that Gamestar.de, one of the bigggest german gamersites understood it exactly like a lot of other customers. They thought, the game had a faulty patch, but with version 35.2 it was fixed. So i had to tell them that this is not the case. Thankfully they listened to me and corrected their post on Gamestar.de.

Oh and i totally know that sentence: “once the update is available”. But it makes no difference, the post as a whole is hard to understand.

If there was a rollback, why not name it? Think about that.
Oh, thank God they fixed the game they broke so I can use the product I bought. I really appreciate it when developers ruin the game and fix it several hours after.
Yeah, the only thing we do not have now is what we paid for. We should just have patience, it’s not like the console players have the DLC.

hey you can play and only 7 cars from over 400 are not available . So you have over 98% of what you paid for . I have it at least .

I do not understand you. I am totally happy with 400+ cars, they are awesome. But the game has so much problems on pc, don’t you think that everytime something like this patch fail happens, the pc playerbase will get more and more dissapointed?
Sorry my previous post was for zalmoxis91 . I can understand your frustration and i was also VERY dissapointed with the Game after the release, but there are bigger problems than a few errors in a videogame .
They have made a workarround after few hours and we can play . Its better than some other publishers ! Everybody knows that T10/PG lacks at communication . We must just live with it .

Yes there are bigger issues in the world, having DL’ed the game once and now being forced to do it again due to them being unable to do proper R&D is however not a small thing…
I have bandwith to spare so for me it’s not a major problem but it’s certainly not fun…or “nothing”…
