BMW M3 GTR Race Car

this car obviously needs no introduction, it’s simply one of the most iconic race cars of all time.

the M3 GTR also competed in australia, at the bathurst 24 hour. sadly for BMW, it was soundly beaten by the mighty holden monaros which dominated the entire race. it sits in behind the yellow holden.

(can we have both the M3 and the monaro race cars please and thank you)

M3 GTR previously appeared in the first 4 Motorsport titles. (Motorsport 1-4)

It was known as the pinnacle of BMW race cars as it is heavily recognized from NFS Most Wanted and every car guy loved it so much. Its 4.0 P60B40 NA V8 and 6-speed straight-cut Manual gearbox gives the most aesthetic sound of a race car.

If it would ever return to the new Forza Motorsport, then I prefer the 2001 #42 BMW Motorsport version of it. Would look like a “made from the ground up” model as it would be spiritually returning from FM4. Also, we would like to paint it silver with some blue pinstripe decals if we ever get the chance! Most of us will recreate the legendary hero car.

A follow up to my post on this topic before:

It would be weird to have Nurburgring in the track rotation and not have a racing spec m3 GTR to tear up the track with. People like myself just wanna try to replicate moments in 2005 where Hans-Joachim Stuck ran through it in just over eight minutes in a video you can find on YouTube.
