Another beautiful car from Noble but unfortunately this never left the Prototype stage.
Power comes from the trusty old 3.0L Ford V6 with Twin-Turbo’s producing 400hp (298kw) and 385lb-ft (522n.m). Combined with a 6-Speed Manual and a weight of 1150kg (2535lbs) the 0-60mph mark was achieved in 4.3s and 0-100mph in 9.5s with the car going up to around 190mph top speed.
The engine in this particular Noble was retuned for Responsiveness with the Company claiming that over 90% of the Torque output was available at only 2750rpm with the engine being effective as low down as 1000rpm due to new gearing.
The interior was brand new and intended to give a Premium feel to the car with extra amenities such as Electric Windows, heated mirrors, heated windscreen, optional SatNav and a Central Display unit which were not seen in other Nobles of the time. The Interior Layout in particular was given extra attention as to not distract the driver while the car was in motion while still giving them the ability to use things if desired.
The Car was cancelled because the CEO thought it was going to be too expensive (£75,000) and not enough of an improvement over the other Nobles of the time to be competitive with cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo and Ferrari 430.
